#MIWeekend – Feb. 10-12: Winter Fun and Solemn Remembrances

Take part in the snow castle building at the Michigan Tech Winter Carnival in Houghton, or participate in Black History Month by learning about the legacy of segregation laws by viewing a traveling exhibit of the Ferris State Jim Crow Museum at the Loutit District Library in Grand Haven.

You can also look forward to events around the state hosted by members of the House Democratic Caucus, including:


  • Community Conversations with Rep. Robert Wittenberg at the Hazel Park District Library, 23 E. Nine Mile Road in Hazel Park, at 3:30 p.m.


  • Coffee and Conversation with Rep. Adam Zemke at Brewed Awakenings, 7025 E Michigan Ave. in Saline, at 10 a.m.


  • Coffee hour with House Democratic Floor Leader Christine Greig at the Costick Activities Center in Conway Hall, 28600 11 Mile Road in Farmington Hills, from 10-11 a.m.
  • Coffee hour with Rep. Tim Sneller at Sam’s Italian Restaurant, 4105 Grand Blanc Road in Mundy Township, from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
